The 2015-16 school year has kicked off and is shaping up to be the biggest year ever for Way to Go’s Schoolpool program. More than 130 schools around the region work with the Way to Go team to match students and families who live close to each other and could share a ride to school. Schoolpool lets parents share driving responsibilities with neighbors and provides a list of people they can contact, for full- or part-time carpooling. The program also serves as emergency transportation in case of bad weather, illness or car trouble. The Schoolpool program is free and available to all public and private elementary, middle and high schools throughout the Denver region. If you are a parent or a school administrator interested in bringing Schoolpool to your school, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303-458-7665.
