Boulder's Google office worked with Way to Go partners, Boulder Chamber - BTC and Commuting Solutions, by launching programs to support eco-friendly commuting.

Google chose to cover the cost of the RTD EcoPass and B-cycle memberships for all 1,300+ Boulder employees, as well as the cost of vanpools and the Guaranteed Ride Home program. They also offered on-site locker rooms, showers, secure bicycle parking, and a Boulder B-cycle station right in front of their building.

VMware has embraced vanpooling. Using multiple vanpools at any given time, they connect their employees across Boulder and Denver with rides to work.

By partnering with Enterprise to set up a company vanpool, VMware helped employees find their way to and from work. Each vehicle was equipped with free Wi-Fi and a paid HOV toll pass to help employees stay productive and stress-free.

The Denver Zoo cleans the air for humans and animals alike by encouraging eco-friendly transportation.

The Denver Zoo cleans the air for humans and animals alike by encouraging eco-friendly transportation.

The Denver Zoo worked with Way to Go to implement a summer challenge where zoo employees tracked their trips on MyWayToGo.org to be added to a drawing to win prizes. Denver Zoo organized internal support by pairing employees new to bike commuting with “bike buddies,” and matched staff interested in carpooling together. They also offered free one-day RTD passes for anyone taking the bus or rail to work. Data gathered from this challenge is helping them explore the potential for future programs and incentives. For several years they have also provided a very popular public-facing Bike to Work Day station with some zoo animals' appearances.

Way to Go can help set up a trip-tracking challenge for your workforce and collect key data.
