Who doesn’t love a little friendly competition? With more than 800 businesses participating this year, the Bike to Work Day Employer Challenge has become a much- anticipated tradition for companies of all sizes across the region. Organizations see who can put forth the greatest effort to register their workforce on the Bike to Work Day website and compete in four different categories based on company size. The 2015 Business Challenge enjoyed strong participation throughout the region with the largest increase in employer participation coming from Denver with 2300 employees biking to work.
Participating businesses report the Challenge increases employee morale and productivity by providing their employees with a way to shake up their work day. And don’t forget, there are also great prizes to be won! Last year, sponsors gave away bicycles, bicycle equipment, and concert and sporting event tickets, including to individual participants.
